Rhinathiol Syrup -125ml

Description

Rhinathiol Syrup is used for Bronchiectasis, Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, Respiratory tract infections and other conditions. Rhinathiol Syrup may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Carbocisteine is a mucolytic that reduces the viscosity of sputum to relieve the symptoms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and brochiectasis through expulsion of the mucus. Carbocisteine should never be used with antitussives that dry up bronchial secretions.

Dosage

• children 2 to 5 years-5 ml twice daily
• children over 5 years-5 ml 3 times daily

Composition

• carbocisteine 2g-excipients q.s.f 100 ml

side effects

• diarrhoea,
• nausea,
• stomach upset.
